Create Your Future!

There are a few "business builder" stamp sets which are only available for purchase if you are a Close To My Heart Consultant.

A great quote from Abraham Lincoln in the Opportunity stamp set.  The card base is Saffron cardstock, and five of the six patterned papers from Urban are used on the card. City skyline is a "zip strip" from the Urban papers, and the card sketch is Pattern #29 from Make It From Your Heart Volume 2.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

Opportunity and Luck

There are a few "business builder" stamp sets which are only available for purchase if you are a Close To My Heart Consultant.

My favorite of these "business builder" stamp sets is Opportunity.  It contains several wonderful, inspirational quotes.  This 'lucky' quote from Oprah Winfrey was stamped using Sapphire ink, and the papers used are from the very versatile Urban kit.  A few Triangle Studs are the only embellishment.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

Diffuse Your Artwork (Technique Blog Hop)

For the Technique Blog Hop this month, we are using the new Embossing Diffusers which are now available from Close To My Heart.  There is both a Square and a Circle Diffuser.

If you arrived from Show and Tell, with Michelle  blog, then follow along with the link at the bottom of this post to continue the Technique Blog Hop

A Diffuser allows you to leave a "blank" area on your cardstock when embossing.  For this card, the Scallop Embossing Folder was used along with the Square Diffuser, leaving a space to stamp an image from the Love My Cat stamp set.  A dotted paper from the Georgie kit was used for the background, with a bit of Whisper Twine and a Bitty Sparkle as embellishments.   Design of the card is based on Pattern #25 in Make It From Your Heart Volume 1.

Please visit Melissa's My Heartfelt Sentiments blog for another entry in this month's Technique Blog Hop.

Love Ya Silly Monster

A fun sketch is one of the challenges this month on the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog.  It has been a while since I have participated in one of their challenges, and I hope to be more active.

Using a silly monster from the Love Ya Silly stamp set along with papers from the Zoe kit, this card has a lot of different colors and patterns.  The flower embellishment is included in the Zoe Assortment.  A clear button with a bow of Glacier Twine adds a finishing touch.

Sangria ~ Stampers With An Attitude (Blog Hop)

Fall weather has arrived, and our Stampers With An Attitude team is sharing projects created using the Autumn colored Sangria paper pack.

If you have come here from the CatScrapbooking blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one, or visit each blog from the list at the end of this post.

The design of this card is based on Pattern #26 in the Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 how-to book.  Beginning with a card base of Cocoa cardstock, two of the beautiful patterned papers from Sangria were used along with leaf images from the Fallen Leaves stamp set.  Of course, I used some of the wonderful Foil Tape again, this time in Gold.  And also added an embellishment from the Gold Paper Fundamentals Assortment, as well as some Gold Bling Gems.

Now "Hop" on over to The Creative Beehive for more artwork using the Nevermore paper kit.
