An Autumn Leaf

With cooler "sweatshirt" weather this week, soon our trees will begin showing their beautiful autumn colors.  In anticipation, this card uses Color My Heart (Color Dare #110) of Barn Red, Sunset, and Honey and mashes them with The Friday Mashup (FM177) of using 'leaves' and a sketch. The beautiful leaf stamp is from Harvest Happiness, and it is paired with a sentiment from the new Rainy Day stamp set.  Using the Art Philosophy cartridge, a circle was cut using tan Glitter Paper and a larger scalloped circle was cut using Barn Red from Paper Fundamentals.

A Rainy Day

If you are having a "rainy day," you can stand under my umbrella.  This cheerful card was created using the bright colors of Color My Heart Color Dare 101; Gypsy, Lagoon, Sunset and Pear.  Rainy Day is a new stamp set which is available in the new Annual Inspirations book, and it is used with Freshly Made Sketches #144 (FMS144).   To add a bit of texture, the background was embossed using the Dot Embossing Folder.
