Life Is Wonderful (July SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This month, Life Is Wonderful.  This stamp set includes some really nice images to use on your scrapbook pages.  See all the images in the stamp set in the picture at the bottom of this post.

If you have come here from Melissa's Heartfelt Sentiments blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

Since the images in the Life Is Wonderful stamp set are nice and large for scrapbook pages, a 5"x7" card size was needed.  In order to keep the focus on the detailed words, I decided to keep the card very simple.  Outdoor Denim and Indian Corn Blue pages from Paper Fundamentals were used, along with a shape from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and three images from Life Is Wonderful.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (July 2015) and you are eligible to purchase the Life Is Wonderful stamp set for only $5.

Now "Hop" on over to the Sarah Stone Creations blog to see her work.  Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting inspiration and other fun ideas.

If you get lost along the way, the complete list of participants is available on Melinda's 'If You Bling It' blog.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

Call For Back-Up (Technique Blog Hop)

For the Technique Blog Hop this month, we are showing using the "Call for Back-Up" technique shown on page 80 of Close To My Heart Annual Inspirations.

If you arrived from the Heartfelt Sentiments blog, then follow along with the link at the bottom of this post to continue the Technique Blog Hop

Following Pattern #25 in Make It From Your Heart Volume 2, this card uses the stamp set from Blossom Cardmaking Workshop-on-the-Go along with papers from the Snowhaven kit.  Even though the theme of Snowhaven is winter, the papers are versatile enough to use for many other projects as well.  For the "Call for Back-Up" technique, the Chevron punch was used on a piece of Glacier cardstock and then placed on top of a strip of Red Shimmer Trim.  To add a bit of dimension to the 'happy birthday' sentiment, a Circle Glass Cover from the Base & Bling collection was added.

Please visit Wendy's "My Scrapbooking Blog" blog for another entry in this month's Technique Blog Hop.

Best Dad Ever ~ Stampers With An Attitude (Blog Hop)

At times it is difficult to create something appropriate to give to a man or boy, so members of our Stampers With An Attitude team decided to focus on Masculine Artwork this month.

If you have come here from Misty Girl Inspirations blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one, or visit each blog from the list at the end of this post.

Using this fun image from The Best Dad Ever stamp set makes creating a nice Father's Day card quick and easy.  The image was stamped using Cocoa ink.  Then it was also stamped on another piece of cardstock using Barn Red ink and Black ink.  The colored hat and bow tie were cut out and placed on top of the original image, giving it more flair.  Some fabulous patterned papers from the Jackson kit were used along with Pattern #20 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 "how to" book.

And the inside of the card is completed using the other image included in The Best Dad Ever set.

Now "Hop" on over to the Heartfelt Sentiments blog for more masculine artwork.
