At times it is difficult to create something appropriate to give to a man or boy, so members of our Stampers With An Attitude team decided to focus on Masculine Artwork this month.
If you have come here from Misty Girl Inspirations blog, you are on the right path! Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one, or visit each blog from the list at the end of this post.
Using this fun image from The Best Dad Ever stamp set makes creating a nice Father's Day card quick and easy. The image was stamped using Cocoa ink. Then it was also stamped on another piece of cardstock using Barn Red ink and Black ink. The colored hat and bow tie were cut out and placed on top of the original image, giving it more flair. Some fabulous patterned papers from the Jackson kit were used along with Pattern #20 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 "how to" book.
And the inside of the card is completed using the other image included in The Best Dad Ever set.
Now "Hop" on over to the Heartfelt Sentiments blog for more masculine artwork.

Your card has really made me want to pull this stamp set out and use it. Love your card!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Melinda!
DeleteI really like your father's day card. It works so well with the Jackson paper pack.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cat. Thought it needed some more neutral colors.
DeleteNeat Father's Day card! Love the stamp set with the Jackson paper.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Belinda. Since I felt the moustache and bowler hat needed to be dark, that was the best paper I had.
DeleteLove that inside sentiment!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy. That sentiment may be my favorite part of the stamp set. :)
