Hello There - exclusive WOTG stamp set

Close To My Heart has some great new Workshop-on-the-Go (WOTG) kits that can be used to create scrapbook pages and cards - and each one contains an exclusive stamp set that is only available with purchase of the kit. This first kit is named Twitterpated and the super cute Hello There stamp set includes an adorable hedgehog. Who knew that a hedgehog could be adorable!?

Each kit contains a complete paper packet, an exclusive stamp set, a Workshop Guide, and a coordinating embellishment. Each item in the WOTG - except the exclusive stamp set and the Workshop Guide - can be purchased separately. However, if you purchase the basic kit for $29.95, you will be saving between 10% and 15% off the retail value. The Workshop Guide is a full-color 6-page brochure which has complete cutting and assembly instructions for 2 scrapbook pages and 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs). You can think of the WOTG kits as a "project in a bag" since the papers, stamp sets, embellishments, and instructions are all included - the only extras you need are adhesive, inks, and blocks to use the stamps. Chances are you already have these extras at home just waiting for a new project to work on! Silly & Serious & Any Occasion Card Workshop (September)

The new Autumn/Winter Idea Book from Close To My Heart will be released on September 1, and there are some really fun new stamp sets and papers available. At the September card workshop, you can create a silly card, a serious card, and a card for any occasion.

First, the silly card - this cute little guy is from the Merry Monsters stamp set. It is actually a Halloween set, but I used it for a fun birthday card.

And, the serious card - this uses the Treasures stamp-of-the-month (SOTM) which will be featured in the SOTM Blog Hop. The SOTM Blog Hop is a group of CTMH consultants who are all sharing artwork created using the Treasures stamp set. Look for the launch early on September 1 - viewing the different blogs along the Blog Hop is a fun way to get some great ideas for using the SOTM stamp set. The papers are from the new Grace paper packet and the main image is embossed using Cocoa embossing powder. I think this card has an elegant look, making it a nice sympathy card. Of course, it can also be used for birthday, thank you, or any occasion you need a card.

Finally, the card for any occasion uses the Everyday Celebration stamp set that is available in the special card kit for National Stamping Month. The incredible "Delight in the Everyday" card kit has papers, stamps, inks, embellishments, and instructions for you to create 16 cards. Retail value is $39.95, and you can earn it FREE with the purchase of $60 in stamp sets. At the workshop, you will use the new Twitterpated papers to create one of the designs featured in the card kit. A unique feature of this card is that you can place the brad next to the specific occasion you would like to celebrate.
At the workshop, you will create a total of 12 cards - 4 each of the 3 different designs - for only $15. Creating multiples of each card means you go home with enough cards to send out to friends and family, as well as keep a sample for yourself.
