A Purple Hello

A "purple" card created for Color My Heart Color Dare #212.  Stamp image is from the Create Kindness-Hello set and the card design is Make It From Your Heart volume 2, pattern #28.  Black, Eggplant, and Pansy cardstock and papers are used along with Thistle colored marker to color the flowers.  A white Glitter Paper mat is behind the stamped image, and a strip of black Glitter Trim adds an additional touch of sparkle.  Design of the card is based on Pattern #28 in the Make It From Your Heart series, volume 2.

Color Dare #212 is to use CTMH purples; specifically Eggplant, Thistle, Pansy, along with Black and White.  The color combo creates a striking card.  *UPDATE* My card was selected as the Sapphire winner for the Color My Heart challenge.

Since the center Pansy strip of paper is from the Adventure Fundamentals kit, this qualifies for using the Adventure papers as requested in the Heart 2 Heart Challenges Adventure blog post.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

Create Kindness ~ with Emojis!

To celebrate National Stamping Month, Close To My Heart created a special Create Kindness card kit and encouraged everyone to create and spread a little kindness this month.

With the cute little 3"x3" card bases, I decided to use stamps from the new Emojis stamp set.  The images and sentiments paired together were the perfect size for the pre-cut 1" circle, and I used ink colors to coordinate with the pre-printed card bases.  These quick and easy cards are sure to put a smile on the face of anyone who receives one.

One of the challenges this month on the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog is to share a project using the Create Kindness card kit.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

Deer in the Woods

Close To My Heart is offering Sea Glass as their "color of the year" and one of this month's challenges on the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog is to Show Us Sea Glass! So that was all the inspiration I needed to create this scenic Christmas card.

Each of the CTMH paper packets includes a sheet of 3"x4" cards which can be used for pocket scrapbooking, or any other creative project.  This "deer in the woods" card from the Oh Deer! packet was perfect for the Show Us Sea Glass challenge.  It is completed with a Sea Glass cardstock base, a Sea Glass inked image from the Very Merry stamp set, and some Sea Glass glitter paper.

May Your Season Be Merry

Just a quick Holiday card using colors from this weeks Color My Heart Color Dare #211.  Background paper is from the Swan Lake kit and the sentiment is from my Very Merry, which is my favorite new Holiday stamp set.  Included are nine great stamps to use for your cards this season.

For the trim, a piece of Fern Thick Twine was woven into the open design of the ribbon from the Rustic Home collection.  In order to get the varied colors of the stamped image, a sponge dauber was used to apply three of the ink colors.

In celebration of National Stamping Month, the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog has a fun challenge to use a CTMH stamp on a project.  Be sure to visit their blog to see other creative entries for this CTMH stamp challenge.

Blessed Beyond Measure (September SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  Soon the weather will be changing to Autumn, and the Blessed Beyond Measure stamp set contains all the images you need to show your gratitude for the season.

If you have come here from Inky Hearts, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

Starting with an embossed wood grain background from the Rustic Home paper pack, this card just makes you think of Thanksgiving and everything in the Autumn season.  The leaf shapes were cut using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, and they coordinate with the leaf stem images in the Blessed Beyond Measure stamp-of-the-month set.  The leaf stem pieces were embossed using Clear Detail Embossing Powder over the pigment ink which matches each of the colors of cardstock used.  These are Cranberry, and two brand-new colors of Willow and Lemon.  The frame for the sentiment was also cut using the Artbooking cartridge, and then it was embossed using Saddle pigment ink.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (September 2016) and you are eligible to purchase the Blessed Beyond Measure stamp set for only $5. It is also available for $17.95 without a qualifying purchase.

Now "Hop" on over to Priscilla's Paperie blog to see her work.  Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting inspiration and other fun ideas.
