Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop which features the Baroque Borders stamp set from Close To My Heart. With ornate corner pieces and decorate flourishes, this SOTM is a great way to complement many of your creative designs.
If you have come here from Haley's 'The Inky Scrapper' blog, you are on the right path! With almost 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations, you will see many different uses for this stamp set. Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
In order to really focus on the Baroque Borders stamp set on this card, I chose to keep it very simple. Using the wonderful new pigment ink from Close To My Heart in Smoothie color, ornate images were stamped in two of the corners of a 6"x6" card made using the new Cashmere color of card stock. Sky pigment ink was then used to stamp a portion of the corner image onto a bird from the Garden Wooden Shapes. A tiny brown Sparkle was used for the eye of the bird. To complete the card, a small sentiment from one of the stamp sets that is included in the new Cricut Artiste Collection was used.
Now "Hop" on over to Mary's '..... me stamp 2 .....' blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting inspiration and other fun ideas! Remember, the Baroque Borders stamp set is only available during the month of August 2012. The regular price is $17.95, or you can purchase it for only $5 with a minimum order of $50 in other CTMH products.
If you get lost on the Blog Hop or find links that aren't working, there is a complete list of all participating blogs on Helen's 'Hooked on Stamping' blog.
