Joyful Birthday, with Damask

For the Technique Blog Hop this month, we are showing different ways to use the embossing folders available from Close To My Heart.

If you arrived from Shirley's "Mom 'n Me Scrap" blog, then follow along with the link at the bottom of this post to continue the Technique Blog Hop

Inspiration for my project came from CAS(E) this Sketch! (CTS72) nine of the ten colors in CTMH's Adventure palette.  After cutting 1"x1" squares of each cardstock and placing on a larger square of Whisper, it was then embossed using the Damask embossing folder.  This unifies the colors and almost has a quilted look.

To complete the simple card, the embossed piece was adhered using 3D Foam Tape and a sentiment from the Joyful Birthday stamp set was used.

Please visit Joy's "....Wow....did you make that?" blog for another entry in this month's Technique Blog Hop featuring a the CTMH embossing folders.
