Hats Off ... in Black and White

When I saw that the Seize the Birthday challenge was to use "Black and White toppings," I knew it would pair wonderfully with the sketch challenge at The Friday Mashup (FM176).  The two chevron prints for the background are actually just the front and back of a piece of Black from the Paper Fundamentals package.  A strip of black arrow Washi Tape was used to separate the contrasting colors, and a fun shaped piece was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  These images from the Hats Off stamp set were perfect for the color scheme.  There is even a bit of Liquid Glass added to the lens of the glasses for a little extra dimension.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

    1. Thank you, Sara. I think this is the first time that I have participated in the Friday Mashup and NOT done both parts. Just the sketch this time. :)
