A Spooky Crafting Adventure

There is a Spooky Crafting Adventure Contest on the Make It From Your Heart blog, and this is the card I created for Creative Challenge 4.  You read through the narrative of this fun adventure with different options at certain points in the story, and your assigned challenge depends on which path you take through the story.

My 'assignment' was to create original artwork using the Scaredy Cat paper pack and the Scaredy Cat Assortment.  The adorable cat is a pewter metal shape from the Scaredy Cat Assortment, and the witch and broomstick are stamps in the Halloween Greetings set.  A sentiment from Frightfully Fun was used to complete the card along with some Epoxy Bubbles and Sparkles.  Card sketch is Pattern #25 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 book.

Since Thistle and Sunset are the colors for Color My Heart Color Dare 116, this card fits that challenge also.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

  1. Spooktacular card! I love all the details. The patterned paper behind the metal cat...the epoxy bubbles and the rhinestone on top of the hat. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.

  2. What a great little card! That witch stamp is adorable.

  3. So cute, Sheila! I love all the little glimpses - the fences, the broom, the bats, etc!

Thanks for your comments! It is always nice to hear some feedback. :)
