Cutie Pie (December SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  Four adorable cupcakes and a cake stand are included in this month's stamp set, Cutie Pie.  See all the images in the stamp set in the picture at the bottom of this post.

If you have come here from the If You Bling It ...  blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

A fun geometric paper from the Snowhaven kit provides a background for this cupcake on a pedestal, using stamps from the Cutie Pie set.  The cake stand was embossed using Silver embossing powder and then more color was added using the Silver Metallic Marker.  To create the cupcake, the wrapper and icing were each stamped on other pieces of paper from Snowhaven and cut out to add to the 'base' cupcake.  Paper piecing using patterned paper is a great way to add a bit of texture to your stamped images.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (December 2014) and you are eligible to purchase the Cutie Pie stamp set for only $5.
