For the Technique Blog Hop this month, we are using the new Watercolors which are now available from Close To My Heart. There are 36 rich and creamy colors, along with special Watercolor Paper and a Paintbrush Set.
For my first time playing with these Watercolors, I wanted to do something simple. So I used a couple of the yellow colors and four of the blues to create a colorful background for the hot air balloon image from the Balloon Wishes stamp set. The painting was very easy and fun to do, and I really like how creamy the paint is. It almost has a chalky feel on the paper. To complete the card, some Bitty Sparkles were added to the hot air balloon, and the sentiment is backed with some Silver Glitter Paper.
