A Wreath

I was inspired by the colors in Color My Heart Color Dare #221 to create a Holiday card.

The Snowflakes embossing folder was used to add a bit of texture to the Poppy cardstock.  And the new Thin Cuts available to coordinate with the Wreath stamp make it so easy to cut the wreath shape.  In order to create a bit of dimension and border for the wreath, it was also cut from Goldrush cardstock and then offset just a bit to add some additional contrast for the shape.  One of the fabulous Holiday sentiments from the Very Merry stamp set adds a bit of cheer.  Some red Enamel Gems and a piece of ribbon from the Rustic Home ribbon pack add the finishing touches.

Flower Market (Cricut Cartridge)

Flower Market is the new Cricut collection from Close To My Heart.  It features blooms and blossoms for every season of life.  All of the designs feature botanical details of some kind, from flowers and leaves to branches and wreaths.  Designed to span an entire year's worth of themes and occasions, this collection features shapes for holidays, card making, and everyday scrapbooking.  You can see all of the images at the bottom of this post.

If you arrived here from Corinna's Crafts blog, you are hopping through our circle of Close To My Heart consultants sharing their projects using the new Flower Market cartridge.

For this quick and simple card, using the Flower Market Cricut cartridge, a tree truck was cut using a woodgrain paper from the Oh Deer! paper packet, and the leafy portion of the tree is from a different patterned paper from the same Oh Deer! kit.  The green paper with gold highlights is a simple paper to cut for the outline of the tree branches.  The two different papers from the Oh Deer! kit coordinate very well together to create a simple Holiday card.  The green and gold stars on the paper gives a nice character to the tree branches.  A sentiment from the Very Merry stamp set was embossed using Gold powder to give a little dimension to the card.

CYBER MONDAY SPECIAL!!  **Monday, November 28 only**  When you place a $30 order, you can buy one of the CTMH Cricut collections at 30% off!

New Year's Cheer (November SOTM Bog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This month, the New Year's Cheer stamp set includes some great images for creating an invitation to your NYE party, creating a card to wish someone a fabulous new year, and scrapbooking photos from your fun festivities.

If you have come here from Papercrafting Princess, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

The gold stars and speckles on a paper from the Oh Deer! packet creates a great background for champagne bubbles.  The flutes and sentiment from New Year's Cheer were embossed using Gold powder, which adds a nice sheen and texture to the card.  Influenced by the gold in the background paper, a piece of vellum with gold dots from the Uptown Fundamentals was added over some Sea Glass (color of the year) cardstock.  The timeless sketch for the card is pattern #20 from Make It From Your Heart Volume 2.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (November 2016) and you are eligible to purchase the New Year's Cheer stamp set for only $5. It is also available for $17.95 without a qualifying purchase.

Now "Hop" on over to the Scrap Stamp Share blog to see her work.  Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting inspiration and other fun ideas.
