Circus Alphabet (July SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This month the featured stamp set is Circus Alphabet, and you are sure to see some very creative uses along the Blog Hop.  With whimsical uppercase letters, a full set of lowercase letters, numbers, and some punctuation, this set is extremely versatile.  See all the images in the stamp set in the picture at the bottom of this post.

If you have come here from the Welcome to My Creative Space! blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

Used an image from the Frame Flair stamp set along with letters from the Circus Alphabet to create a flowery, feminine, cheery 'thank you' card.   A fanciful flower paper from the Lollydoodle kit provides the background, while some pink and green Glitter Paper adds sparkle.  The Frame Flair stamp fits perfectly on an image cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and just a bit of color using Cotton Candy and Pear markers gives the frame some added dimension.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (July 2014) and you are eligible to purchase the Circus Alphabet stamp set for only $5.

Lifting Spirits ... in a Balloon

Using a hot air balloon from the Lifting Spirits stamp set, along with papers from both Jubilee and Lollydoodle kits, this card combines Color My Heart Color Dare #93 along with Freshly Made Sketches FMS135

In order to incorporate the four colors for the Color Dare, some patterned Cranberry paper and a patterned Honey paper were used from the Jubilee kit.  The center banner with white polka-dots has a Juniper background and is available in the Lollydoodle kit.  The color Twilight is used for one of the banners, as the ink to stamp the balloon image, and for the card base.

You've Got A Friend (May SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for the month of April, featuring the You've Got a Friend set.  The five sentiments in this stamp set are perfect for creating a fun card to brighten someone's day.   See all the images in the stamp set in the picture at the bottom of this post.

If you have come here from Lori's Saving My ...  blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

The fun Lollydoodle papers were perfect to use with this sentiment from the You've Got a Friend stamp set.  Pattern #26 in the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 guide is a great way to include several different patterned papers.  However, the striped piece in the middle is actually a strip of Smoothie Washi Tape on White Daisy cardstock.  To complete the card, an adorable owl from the Lollydoodle Assortment of adhesive-backed acrylic gems was added along with some Slate and Smoothie Baker's Twine.

Place a $50 minimum order this month (May 2014) and you are eligible to purchase the You've Got a Friend stamp set for only $5.

Best Wishes

Decided to create a card combining Freshly Made Sketches (FMS131) and Color My Heart Color Dare #89, which includes the colors Juniper, Creme Brûlée and Sorbet.

Since the sketch has a tall, skinny piece, the hot air balloon from the Lifting Spirits stamp set worked well.  In order to add a bit of pattern to the balloon portion, it was stamped on a dotted paper from the Lollydoodle kit and then cut and placed on the stamped image.  To emphasize the polka-dots, a piece of Sorbet cardstock was embossed using the Dots folder.  The sentiment is included with the Banner Wishes stamp set.

Big Hug

Created a simple card using CAS(E) this Sketch #71.  The bird silhouette was cut using the Artbooking Cricut cartridge, and the sentiment is from the Big Hug stamp set.  Colors used are Sky, Lagoon, and Chocolate.  Inspired by the sketch, a few sequins left over from the Lollydoodle Cardmaking WOTG kit were scattered along with some Bitty Sparkles in the center of each.
