Flock Together (April SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  For the month of April, Close To My Heart created this adorable Flock Together stamp set with some sassy little birds.

Used the Flock Together stamp set to create a fun card to send to a "birds of a feather" friend.  These cute little birds were stamped using Saffron, Goldrush, and Poppy ink, along with a 'thanks' from the Friendly Wishes stamp set.  A floral and some woodgrain paper from the Dreamin' Big kit give the card a Springtime look.  The Overview card sketch is one of my favorites from the Wishes Card Confidence Program.

Tea-rrific (March SOTM Blog Hop)

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  This adorable Tea-rrific stamp set for the month of March has a nice stack of tea cups, along with cute sentiments you can stamp and customize a cup on a card or scrapbook page.

This stack of tea cups from the Tea-rrific stamp set was fun to color using some of the ShinHan Touch Twin markers available from Close To My Heart.  The 'merci beaucoup' is from the Friendly Wishes stamp set and is a nice complement to the tea cups.  Patterned papers from the Dreamin' Big kit were used along with card sketch #27 in Make It From Your Heart volume 1.

Silver and Gold

Was inspired by the Silver and Gold Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week.  Used the Dreamin' Big-Cardmaking Thin Cuts bundle to create the butterflies and dragonfly which are embossed with gold and silver embossing powder.  The background of the card is a piece of gold stripe from the All About the Gold Fundamentals packet.  There is a bit of a glare on it because it is actually a clear vinyl with the stripes, it adds such a nice texture and dimension.  The design of the card is based off Pattern #20 in Make It From Your Heart, Volume 1.  And the shaped label for the sentiment was cut using the Artistry Cricut cartridge.  To add even more sparkle and shine, some Metallic Foil tape was used and also some Glitter Paper.
