A Smoothie Birthday

Another two-challenge card.  This one combines Freshly Made Sketches (FMS118) and Color My Heart Color Dare #76, which is to use the color Smoothie with any neutrals.

A dainty sentiment from the 4 My Friend stamp set was the inspiration to create a feminine card combining Smoothie cardstock with a lacy paper from the For Always kit.  Rounding all of the corners really softens the overall look, along with the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon and Pearl Opaques.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

  1. Love the pink/black color combo. The rosette ribbon and pearls are perfect touches, too. Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart.

  4. So many of us chose to combine Smoothie with white or off-white. Your black background is just striking! Thanks so much for joining the Color Dare.
