Give A Lift with Ariana ~ Stampers With An Attitude (Blog Hop)

This month, the "Stampers With An Attitude" blog hop participants are sharing projects using papers from the Close To My Heart Ariana kit.

If you have come here from Melinda's 'If You Bling It ... They Will Come' blog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one, or visit each blog from the list at the end of this post.

When starting to create my project, I took all the patterned papers from Ariana and laid them on the table.  All the different blue papers in the kit really caught my eye, so I decided to just use them and not any of the pink and green.  A small piece of Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape in the upper right corner coordinates nicely with the blue papers.

Pattern #23 in the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 guide was used as the sketch, and the card came together quickly using a couple of images from the Give A Lift stamp set.  The Artbooking Cricut cartridge was used to cut a coordinating shape for the background which is stamped using Crystal Blue ink.  So that the sentiment would be a nice contrast to the background, it was stamped using Outdoor Denim Pigment Ink and embossed using Clear Detail Embossing Powder.

This card should "give a lift" to anyone who has the "blues."

Now "Hop" on over to 'CatScrapbooking' for her project using the Ariana paper pack.
