A Sweet Giraffe

Created some cards this afternoon, and this first one combines The Friday Mashup! (FM160) with Color My Heart Color Dare #94.  The sketch and "get well" theme work well with the colors of the challenge.  Looking through the current paper packets available from Close To My Heart, I was able to find a patterned Hollyhock in the Ivy Lane kit and a Buttercup print with the Babycakes kit.  Combining the two papers adds some texture to the card which has a sweet giraffe and sentiment from the Zoology stamp set.  A bit of Baker's Twine and a couple of Flamingo Dots were added as a finishing touch.

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

    1. Thanks, Michelle. I didn't have any "get well" sentiments for the Friday Mashup, so this is what I found to use. :)

  5. Great mash-up of collections, Sheila. Sometimes those papers sit in their designated bags never to meet. But when they do, great things happen! Thanks for sharing on the Color Dare.
