Pumpkin Wishes

Had a lot of fun playing with the Autumn Wishes stamp set.  It comes with these two great pumpkin images and the two sentiments.  For a perfectly-cut pumpkin, use the coordinating shape on the Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

You may notice that the two cards are virtually identical, just using different papers and the slightly different stamps available in Autumn Wishes.  For the top card, I decided to play with the vivid colors of Jeepers Creepers papers.  And was so pleased with how the card turned out, that I re-created it using some woodgrain papers in the Oh Deer! packet. This pumpkin is actually embossed using gold embossing powder, which gives it a nice metallic sheen.  It is really interesting to see how completely different the cards look using such drastically different color schemes.  Yet the layout and dimensions of the two cards are exactly the same.

With the Fall season upon us, one of this month's themes on the Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog is "woodgrain".
