Senior Dance Concert ~ All Framed Up!

This week the Heart 2 Heart Challenge blog is "All Framed Up" so I decided to share a special framed project that I created as a memento for my daughter.  As a Senior majoring in Dance, she choreographed an original dance piece while collaborating with a composer  who wrote the original music for her piece.  She also performed in several of the pieces choreographed by her fellow students.

Starting with the paper insert which came in the 18"x20" frame, I adhered four pieces of Whisper cardstock to form a base.  Some polka-dot Washi Tape was used to cover the 'seams' of the paper and to add some visual interest.  The Senior Dance Concert poster (autographed by all the choreographers) is the focus, along with a page from the Program and details for Samantha's original piece ~ Phoenix.  Several different embellishments from Close To My Heart were used to complement the poster, without over-powering it.

Please view the video to learn more about this unique collaboration between Stephens College and the University of Missouri

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).
