In honor of National Scrapbooking Day, thought I would share a 9x9 accordion album that I made of our trip to Alaska in June 2007. It was a fabulous cruise aboard the Serenade of the Seas sailing from Vancouver. The scrapbook was made using the Life Delights Memory Showcase kit from Close To My Heart.
Our first port stop was Icy Strait Point at Hoonah, Alaska. It was a very peaceful and beautiful stop, with a fabulous nature trail. Look how tall those trees are!
In Juneau, we took a helicopter ride over the Ice Field and landed at two different spots. This is our family standing next to the helicopter in front of the 'Hole in the Wall' glacier ice fall.
The second helicopter stop was on a cliff high above Mendenhall Glacier.
While in Hoonah, we rode the world's longest zipline - that was quite a ride!
There was a rock-climbing wall ON the ship.
And this beautiful view was in Skagway, Alaska.
Sheila, I enjoyed browsing your blog and what a beautiful album of Alaska photos you've created! We spent 3 weeks in Alaska in summer 2005 and enjoyed it so much. We're weren't adventuresome on any zip lines though! Happy weekend! A CTMH sister in MO
