Gratitude With an Attitude! (Blog Hop)

In honor of Thanksgiving month, the "Stampers With An Attitude" blog hop participants are sharing projects which show Gratitude.  Coincidently, the Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week is also Gratitude.

If you have come here from 'Roxybondsblog, you are on the right path!  Blog Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
Who doesn't like turkey?  This fancy bird is from the Perfect Fit-Thanksgiving stamp set, and there is a corresponding image to cut on the Artiste cartridge.  Simply cut the turkey using your Cricut and then use the stamp image to add a bit of color to your turkey.  In order to provide a mat behind the turkey, Chocolate cardstock was cut just 1/10" larger than the original turkey cut image.  Papers used are from the Babycakes packet.  Inspiration for the layout of the card is Pattern 24 from Make It From Your Heart Volume 1, which is a great How-To Pattern book for both cards and scrapbook pages.  As a finishing touch, some colored Sparkles were added to the stamped images.
A strip of Slate Washi Tape completes the inside of the card.  Using a Corner Rounder on the card gives it a nice, soft look and also harmonizes with the scallop edges and circles.

Now "Hop" on over to 'Hilary's Crafts' to see more creations showing 'Gratitude With an Attitude'!

All papers and stamps are from Close To My Heart (CTMH).

    1. Thanks, Katy. It was fun using the Babycakes colors for Thanksgiving. It's a brighter look than the normal deeper colors that are used.
